Major Grand Theft Auto V Story DLC and Online Heists Coming 2014
Grand Theft Auto 5

Grand Theft Auto V might have been the biggest game of the generation and made enough moolah to purchase a small country, but Rockstar are a long way from done with it yet. GTA Online had a launch that could charitably described as bumpy (or less charitably as a bit of a mess) but things thankfully seem to have settled down now.  In their latest Newswire post  on the official Rockstar site they have announced new features for GTAO owners coming this month. This week sees the beta launch of the Deathmatch and Race Creator feature, allowing users to create and share content in Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and racing modes. Later in December sees Capture - "a proper GTA twist on capture the flag". Rockstar themselves say that it is possibly their favourite multiplayer mode- so gamers should have a lot to look forward to in the near future.

The post also detailed the plans for GTA for 2014 would also include considerably more content coming to GTAO, but that we can also expect new content for the main game.:

For those ready to jump back into the story of Grand Theft Auto V, we have big plans for substantial additions in 2014 continuing Michael, Franklin and Trevor's action, mayhem and unexpected adventures in Southern San Andreas.

For anybody who prefers the story mode, it's certainly good news to know that they have not been forgotten. What exactly these updates will consist of, and when we can expect them remains to be seen. For the Online community 2014 also sees the much anticipated release of the Online Heists mode. Again specific release details remain elusive, but Rockstar have confirmed that they are working hard to get them out and "as polished and as fun as they can be".
