Battlefield 4 Will Include A Practice Range For Learning To Fly Helicopters And Jets
Yesterday DICE announced that Battlefield 4 will now include a Practice Range for people who want to learn how to fly within the game. Because lets be honest with ourselves there are very few people that have mastered the art of Battlefield flying, and I take my hat off to you for being such a good asset to our team, and not crashing it in to a building or lake.
DICE's creative director Lars Gustavsson said in an interview that "We've definitely heard that people are afraid of getting in there and using the vehicles like helicopters and that's not our intent." He also went on to say, "so what we've done is, we've added a test range, which allows you to try out all the hardware ahead of time."
"If you want to learn to fly a helicopter," he continues, "you can get in there and you can find the settings that work best for you. And then start doing some stunt flights just to feel safe before you go out and get the responsibility of a bunch of people sitting in your helicopter. So I truly hope that this will help people feel safe about trying out the whole of Battlefield, helicopters and all."
I personally think this is an amazing idea, because at the end of the day the planes and helicopters within Battlefield, are a big part of the game and for people that don't know how to fly then with this addition to the game they won't feel as left out on that part of the game. So lets practice, practice, practice and with that we can show off our skills.
