Diablo 3: Paragon Levels Account Wide on Xbox 360 and PS3

Diablo 3: Paragon Levels Account Wide on Xbox 360 and PS3
Diablo 3 Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls

Following the announcement of the console version of Diablo 3, came a reassuring announcement of the Reaper of Souls Expansion for PC. Among the many features that will come in a free content patch before the expansion is Paragon 2.0. In Paragon 2.0, PC users were promised a first chance at an account wide paragon system. This allows you to share magic and gold find bonuses across your entire account. We were reassured multiple times that these features would not be available on console: we would be rewarded for our patience along the bumpy road that was Diablo 3’s PC release.

They told us this to keep us calm; but, we've been tricked. An alert should be blaring in all Diablo 3 player's new feed: 'Paragon Levels Account Wide on Console.'Today marks the console release of Diablo 3, and along with it, the realization that paragon levels are account bound on both Xbox 360 and PS3. Yet, the PC version of Diablo 3 still has no hint of such an update. Account-wide paragon levels were gifted to console users on a silver platter. This means if you have one paragon level 100 toon, any new level 1 character you start will have 300% magic and gold find. PC users will have to wait until a later date for such an update.

On top of this, it has become apparent that the loot that drops on console are marginally better than in the PC version. Weapon damages are higher than on PC mainly because there seems to be a higher chance of an item rolling great stats. Normally a level 53 item would never roll anywhere near 800 damage even if it was a level 60 with reduced level requirement. Yet here it seems that this is the norm...So while we wait for Loot 2.0 and Paragon 2.0, console players can enjoy a more balanced game that has benefited from our blood, sweat, and tears.
How does something like this happen? Months of neglect. No content updates. Out of this lull in PC patches, rises a buffed up Diablo 3 on console. Buffed with the suggestions of the PC game’s community. We’ll just have to hope that Loot 2.0 and Paragon 2.0 make up for this atrocity. Check out the thread on the Diablo 3 forums about the topic.

Exactly, butthurt PC player. I played the pc version as well, but i am loving the console version so much better. Why? Not just because of better drops, but because they got rid of the most annoying aspect of the pc version, the RMAH. The rmah ruined the game, it made gold not valuable whatsoever, same with gameplay. Just try and lvl up your champ meaninglessly until you hit 60, then drop 20 bucks in the rmah and buy everything you want. Of course the console version will have better drops because we don’t have the option to go to an auction house and buy all the items we want, we actually have to work at it and find what we need to excel. Quit crying when you pc people have it made so easy.

Lol, Not even a month after its release on consoles you already got server full of dupes/hacked items. Good luck keeping that community alive. PC gamers have it easy?! You kidding? Have you even seen the drops from the console compared to PC version? Strongest weapon on PC version cant even touch just a random weapon drop from console. But then again, console is easy mode.

As long as you play with friends, you should have no worries when it comes to duping/hacked items, so I don’t see the issue there.

It’s like Borderlands and BL2 on PC which is x10 worse than the hacking found on Diablo 3 console.

Console is actually harder than PC as well…
There’s Normal, Medium, Hard, Master 1-5, those are the equivalents to PC’s “Monster Power”

Normal on console is Monster Power 2 on PC, so Master 5 is similar to having Monster Power 12 on PC.

So, console is not easy mode.

OR, ….. perhaps you PC fanboy jackoffs will finally “see the light”, and come to the realization of the certainty that the console versions of many games are, in fact, LIGHT YEARS better than the PC version counterpart in like 99% of all cross-platform games out there anymore. Gone are the days of the Atari 2600 and 8-bit Nintendo NES for “consoles”. No one gives a F@€K about your PC “power” or hardware specs. It’s all about the PLAYING EXPERIENCE, which is vastly superior on a console for numerous reasons which should all be obvious. The ONLY thing you guys having going for you is the modding community. Period. Tired of you douchebags coming into chat rooms and spouting off about how “superior” your sub culture is. I for one, am GLAD you guys are taking it in the shorts. Get with the program, and cross over. Suck it, PC fanboys …..

In the month of since I wrote this I bought an Xbox 360 and D3 and leveled every class to 60. The game is better on console from a mechanics standpoint but the graphics are sub-par compared to the PC game. I agree 100% with you that it is about the playing experience and for me the Xbox 360 takes the cake for Diablo 3. That is not true across the board and my one complaint with console games is that the graphics are still so far behind the graphics that you see in top notch PC games. This is obviously going to change come Xbox One and PS4. Console is great and the playing experience is significantly better for Diablo 3 and many other games. The comedy in your comment is that you are doing the same thing PC players do except from the other side of the argument. My post was not about how my PC is better than your Xbox 360 or PS3, it was about how Blizzard took advice from the PC community about the actual game itself and applied those suggestions in the development of D3 for console. In general it seems like a poor business plan to blatantly ignore the PC communities suggestions…then again I bought an Xbox just to buy D3 and experience the changes I wanted for PC.

The console version of DIABLO 3 is SUPERIOR to the PC version of it. Here Is some information I have gained from research and from a friend that is a blizzard employee that makes the Console version dominant to the PC version of Diablo 3 and why It will be worth the 60$. 1. Diablo 3 on the Console version is very likely to surpass the sales of the PC that means more frequent updates and a far greater chance of more expansions/DLC. This is where you say, why is that? 2. On the Console version of Diablo 3, there is NO AH(Auction House) in any way shape or form. 3. You do NOT have to be online to play Diablo 3. 4. Ninja looters are non-existent in the Console version, Ex: you kill something, you get the drop and nobody else can see that drop besides you. 5. Since you do not have to be online for the console version that basically gives it a solo option. 6. You can play with 3 other friends/people on the same screen! 7. Since there is no AH, drops have been Increased by a good percentage. 8. Exclusive Items for Both Xbox 360 and Ps3 versions of Diablo 3. 9.It will NOT be (PAY TO WIN) when it comes to PvP. I can Promise that you will not be disappointed if you purchase/Pre-order Diablo 3 for the Console. I have played all the Diablo games so far on PC and I am looking forward to the Release of Diablo 3 on Console.
