New “Mass Effect” Minecraft DLC

New “Mass Effect” Minecraft DLC
Mass Effect 3

Announced on the 1st of September, 4J Studios (developer of the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft) is releasing the first “Mash-Up” DLC, a Mass Effect content pack for Minecraft on Xbox 360.

The trailer for this pack shows our faithful heroes sneaking into a Cerberus facility after receiving a message from Admiral Hackett. Destroying any Cerberus troops they come across and maybe a chicken or two, the Illusive Man leads them into a trap releasing that classic Minecraft mob, Creepers leaving them surrounded and stranded.

For this particular DLC, 4J has created 36 playable skins, a texture pack, a Mars Facility save world featured in Mass Effect 3, themed menus and UI (user interface), a soundtrack of 22 of the game’s songs and much more creating an entire new world for Minecraft and Mass Effect lovers alike.

This mash-up of incredibly popular games also features some of our most loved characters from the actual series. Squad mates like Garrus, Legion and Urdnot Wrex, your Allies include Admiral Anderson and pilot Jeff “Joker” Moreau with the Geth and Kai Leng as your Enemies.

With this MinecraftMass Effect mash-up being available through the Xbox LIVE Marketplace (renamed the Xbox Games Store) on September 4th for $3.99 or 320 Microsoft Points, 4J is planning to release more DLC packs similar to this.

Same here. I don’t even have Minecraft on Xbox but I might have to get it just for this amazingness.
