UK Charts: The Last Of Us Holds Steady and Mario & Luigi Start Strong

UK Charts: The Last Of Us Holds Steady and Mario & Luigi Start Strong

So we come to another look at the latest UK All-formats games chart, and it's still no change at the top. Sony's Playstation 3 exclusive The Last Of Us is in the top spot for a fifth successive week. What will be the game to finally topple it? In the summer, of course there is little competition, with few new releases débuting in these months. Come September it will be a different matter, with FIFA 14 and a little game called Grand Theft Auto 5 launching in that month.

Nintendo's Wii U may be struggling in the UK as elsewhere, but the 3DS continues to perform strongly. Mario & Luigi Dream Team Bros has make a very strong start at number 3, while Animal Crossing New Leaf holds on at number 2. Further down the chart, Luigi's Mansion 2 is still in the chart at number 14.

A number of high profile relatively recent games- Far Cry 3, Tomb Raider and Assassin's Creed 3- are still benefiting from price cuts at retailers like Amazon and Game. Look out for summer bargains! The chart in full follows.
